Alicia, the founder of The Fence and Beyond, is a passionate and hardworking chef with over six years of experience in both front and back of house roles. She graduated from the Basque Culinary Center, a four-year university program, where she developed a strong foundation in culinary techniques and global flavors.

Her culinary journey has taken her through various settings , including Michelin-starred restaurants, catering, travel chef positions and more in Spain, USA, Denmark and New Zealand. These experiences, combined with her attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure, have given her a well-rounded understanding of the food industry and the demands of a busy kitchen.

Growing up in different parts of the world, Alicia developed a unique appreciation for creating flavorful dishes. With The Fence and Beyond, she combines her love for homemade, natural products with her dream of bringing bold, creative flavors to her community.
